Jim and Melissa's Wedding

This past Saturday the 11th was Jim and Melissa's wedding and reception. The church and everyone in the ceremony looked incredible. Jim looked so hansome and Mel looked drop dead gorgeous. Jim looked so good in his tux, then I was reminded of the last time I saw him in a tux, when he took me to Jr. Prom. As I looked around I noticed one of my ex boyfriends who was my first sitting a few rows behind me with his wife. As the ceremony went on the groomsmin came out and there was another ex boyfriend who took me to Senior Ball, I was wondering which one in the crowd was his wife... Three people I had dated and all married now. Which was a strange thought at first. Oh well I looked ravishing in my pink tie around the neck dress. WHo cares if I was just there with my parents and didnt have a date. My dad is his boss and would be there anyways and I know everyone who will be at the reception it'll be a blast.

The receptions going well, I've made my rounds to all my dads work buddies who still remember me as a high spirited 7 year old and talked about how weird it was that I graduated from college. I have said hello to all my old Thriftway work buddies who are there, it's soo good to see us all in one place again. So, it's now time for the boucay and my friends push me up there with all the other single ladies. I decide I'm going to take this, so I line myself directly behind Mel, look around I'm taller then everyone in my heels by atleast 4 inches, good. She throws it, I fully extend my arm like I'm going to hit a volleyball, and wham I catch it. Shannon next to me mouth drops open and says non of us even had a chance, then cracks a smile. Of course the logical questions follow this event with so whos the lucky man? I then reply I dont have one. Then of course why does a pretty girl like you not have someone whens the last time you dated? I then reply my ex and I broke up a year ago, tried to work things out recently didn't I'm ok with it, him and I are just friends now. I was also just hanging out with a frat guy but he moved home, no big deal. It'll happen when it happens. Then I change the subject to me graduating and the convo is over until the next person asks and I go through it again. I've been in one wedding and gone to another in the past 4 weeks, all without dates and have had a blast.
Well for the rest of the night I drank, danced, and hung out with old friends which was awesome and much needed. I was informed that I was supposed to be in the grooms room before the wedding to drink with everyone. I was bummed out that I was late and didnt get to.
