Wow we find so many weird things in the fitting rooms but this is probably the grosses and weirdest thing, even weirder then the black hello kitty spankies we found in June. Our new kid Kurtis was doing his job as the fitting room watcher guy and checking all the rooms for left over clothes after people had left. He noticed a tank top in the corner and went to grab it. He found it to be wet which intrigued him so he decided to smell it, to his horror it reeked of urine! Kurtis then quickly walked out to the main area where Devin crazy store manager was and I, doing our all important job of telling kids what to do. (side note, get me outta retail! If anyone knows of another job opening please let me know!) He told us that there was what he believed to be a tank top balled up in a corner of a fitting room, that it was wet, and he needed to go wash his hands. One of the kids started laughing and said "yuck dude gross, you touched a pee shirt! Was it one of ours?" oddly enough it was not. Devin being the crazy cracked out cheerleader that he is grabbed two pant hangers and picked it up and threw it away in the back. Kurtis went to wash his hands and things carried on as normal until Devin left. After close when we can talk about things openly I asked so why the hell was the peed up tank top there? We all speculated coming up with wild explanations. The best one and probably the one closest to the truth was from kurtis, he thinks someone just couldn't hold it any longer had layers on so they took off their tank top wadded up and peed on it so it wouldn't get on the floor! He said since he had been watching the fitting rooms he knew that only teenage girls had been going in, so it wasn't some 5 yr old who had an accident it was possibly someone as old at 18! We then teased him for the rest of the night calling him peepee hands....
